Casa de Papel is a story of vision and passion. Dani, the lord of the estate, was looking for a new, hedonistic start after a successful business career. He wanted to find a quiet corner where he could relax and enjoy excellent Slovenian wine. When he discovered Goriška Brda, he saw his opportunity: an area that boasts vineyard treasures and stunning panoramic views. Thus, in this idyllic location, he designed an estate that combined his love for wine with the desire to create a space for peace and spoiling.
Dani’s idea was that the estate would not be just his personal retreat, but also shared with others. With its innovative design and harmonious integration into the natural environment, Casa de Papel has become more than just a luxury sanctuary. Wishing to offer unique experiences, Dani also dedicates the estate for a limited number of days a year to visitors who want to share his passion for Goriška Brda. The estate thus combines top-notch comfort with a deep connection to local culture and nature.

In the heart of Brda
The estate boasts unique architecture that combines Mediterranean and Alpine influences. The villas made of local stone with brick roofing reflect a rustic and traditional look, while the central courtyard with an olive tree symbolizes sustainability and peace. The hilltop location offers panoramic views of the vineyards and unspoiled nature.
The interior is equally special – the furniture, glass surfaces, beds, and bedding are all Slovenian products, which contributes to superb comfort. We placed special emphasis on the quality of sleep, equipping all beds with premium mattresses made of natural materials, which are the product of a Slovenian manufacturer. The pillows, blankets, and all bedding are also the work of Slovenian manufacturers, meaning the entire bed, along with the bed linen, is Slovenian. Natural cosmetics from Slovenian manufacturers further emphasize the authenticity and quality of the stay, while the art of Goriška Brda, with artworks and decor, completes the experience.
